Arbitrator who whistles Brazil and Serbia expelled Ronaldinho Gaúcho in 2013

Fifa defined the arbitration framework that will work in the game between Brazil and Serbia, next Thursday (24), at 16h (from Brasilia), valid for the first round of Group G of the World Cup: the owner of the whistle will be Iranian Alireza Faghani. He already has a history with the Brazilian team and, even, has been in a match of a great mining club.

Interestingly, the 44-year-old professional whistled the same confrontation between the World Cup 2018 selections, in the third round: victory by 2 to 0 Brazilian, which eliminated Europeans in the group phase. The goals were scored by Thiago Silva and Paulinho, and no Brazilians were punished with cards.

Two years earlier, Faghani whistled at the 2016 Olympic Games in Maracanã between Brazil and Germany. At the opportunity, the normal time ended with a draw by 1 to 1, and Neymar scored the host's goal, missed. In the penalty, the shirt 10 converted the last collection, guaranteeing the first gold in the country.

In 2013, the Iranian judge had "chest" to expel none other than Ronaldinho Gaúcho, when he acted for Atlético. The match in question by the mining team, then champion of the Copa Libertadores, was against Guangzhou Evergrande, from China, in the third place of the World Cup Clubs.

Rooster went to the field in Morocco of low astral, as he had lost to host Raja Casablanca in the semifinal, and missed the opportunity to compete in the final against Bayern Munich. In the field, Brazilians won 3–2 with goals from Ronaldinho, Diego Tardelli and Luan. The star took the red card at the end of the confrontation, after returning a foul.
