With the goal scored in the victory of Portugal by 3 to 2 over Ghana on Thursday (24), Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player man to score in five different World Cups.
One woman, however, had already achieved this: Brazilian Marta, who was the world's best elected six times, pioneered football and the first to be able to swing the nets in five Worlds.
Marta scored goals in 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2019. Already CR7 scored in the Worlds 2006, 2010, 2014, 2018 and 2022.
Remember Marta's 17 goals in World Cups:2003: one against South Korea (3 -0), one against Norway (4-1) and one against Sweden (1-2);2007: two against New Zealand (5-0), two against China (4-0), one against Australia in the octaves (3-2), two against the United States in the semifinal (4-0);2011: two against Norway (3-0), two against the United States in the quarter final (2-2);2015: one against South Korea (2-0);2019: one against Australia (2-3), one against Italy (1-0).
