The video was published by the Spanish newspaper La Opinion. According to the communication vehicle, Eto’o was leaving stadium 974 when he was approached by some fans.
After some photos, the former player began a discussion with a man, who had a short dialogue with the former player and filmed the Cameroonian. There's no information on the motivations of the discussion.
In the video it is possible to see some people trying to calm the former player, who is angry and ends up hitting the man who filmed him. You can see the man with the camera down after the assault.
