One of the greatest idols in the history of Corinthians, Cassio is in the final line of contract and so far has no guarantee that he will renew.
The archer arrived at the club more than a decade ago, having been champion of almost everything he fought for, including Brasileirão, the World Cup of Clubs and the previously unpublished Liberators of America.
Cássio is also the absolute titular of Timão, having 19 games played in 2023. However, the archer, already in his 35 years, has a contract until the end of the season and, to date, has not renewed.
Intention is to renew, but it is not yet certain
The journalist Tiago Salazar even publishes that the Corinthians prepares a major recast in the cast, and that more experienced names will not remain. However, the intention is to renew with Cassius and possibly Renato Augusto, although it is not yet a certainty. The two cited will certainly have a lot of market if they do not remain, especially in Brazil.
Other names, such as those of Fabio SantosGiuliano, Paulinho and Junior Moraes, will not remain.
