Recently the relationship between Palm trees and WTorre took the news because of the frictions that hid the lack of harmony between the parties. What drew the most attention was the delay in the renovation of the Allianz Park lawn, which took the Green from his house in important games.
The stadium was already released for testing, but the administrator delayed the delivery on two occasions, a fact that made President Leila Pereira quite angry, so much so that the leader explained the concern about financial losses to the Club.
Although it still leads the ranking among the Clubs of Brazil on the number of members, the absence of Allianz Parque at the beginning of the season, coincides precisely with the decrease in the number of members, as explained by Bolavip Brasil.
However, a builder's debt to the Club won a new and important resolution. According to the investigation of journalist Danilo Lavieri, Uol Esporte, the Supreme Court of Justice (STJ), denied injunction requested by Real Arenas (arm of the construction company that manages the stadium), regarding the guarantee on the payment of the debt.
Value and consequences of debt
With determination, the builder has a short term to present in court, a guarantee that it will pay off its debt to the Lecture. The value, executed by the Green, is in R$ 160 million.
If WTorre does not meet the deadline with such a guarantee, the Club may revoke the suspension of the execution and request property pledges. Lavieri also reported that the construction company did not position itself on the new decision.
The journalist's assessment points out two important factors about the history of the problem. The first is the correction of the value, because the Justice had granted the request of the Club, but the WTorre appealed and the clash followed. In July 2023, the debt was in R$ 130 million.
The second information that was also detailed in Danilo Lavieri's column is the fact that Verdam placed a lower debt value on his balance sheet. Since you have to pay the builder's values, the Club has dropped the amount, placing the debt with the amount of R$ 83 million.
