Sports journalist and former player, Walter Casagrande Jr., placed the Athletico Paranaense as the "best of all time."
In one week and three matches, Athletico-PR scored 13 goals in three different competitions. He won Maringá in the final of the Paranaense Championship by 3 to 0 on Sunday (7). On Tuesday (9), won 6 to 0 the Deportivo Rayo Zuliano for the South American Cup, and this Sunday (14), in the first round of the Brazilian Championship, won by 4 to 0 the Cuiabá.
"A fast, objective and very intense team. For those who say that none of the three opponents were up to Hurricane, several other teams also faced inferior teams and could not win, with some stalling or losing in the middle of the week," says Casagrande in his column in Uol.
"It is a team that can surprise favorites in Brasileirão, because it is starting strong, even knowing that every round is complicated. It is a team that is demonstrating a lot of offensive aggression," he continues.
Next Wednesday (17), the Athletico goes to Port Happy to Face the Grêmio, which comes from two losses.
