Kayque Silva: History of overcoming and conquering football

Kayque Silva, a young talent of Corinthians, surpassed childhood traumas and was summoned to the Brazilian team under-15, standing out as an attacker.

Kayque Silva, young talent of the 2009 generation Corinthians, was summoned by coach Dudu Patetuci for a training period in the Brazilian team under-15. The trajectory until this opportunity, however, was marked by significant challenges. The attacker faced childhood traumas, including abandonment of parents and rejection of grandparents, to achieve success in football.

Born in Tupã, within Sao PauloKayque began her career in football at the age of six, participating in the local project Alto da Sumare. Family difficulties began with the arrest of her father, leading Kayque, her mother and her younger brother to move to the capital of São Paulo in search of a better life.

In Sao Paulo, the situation worsened. Kayque's mother, a victim of domestic violence and drug abuse, was unable to provide a stable environment. The family returned to Tupã, where they faced the rejection of their grandparents. At this critical moment, Thiego Andrade, personal trainer and coach of the football school, welcomed Kayque. Thiego, along with his wife Fabiana and her three children, took responsibility for raising the boy.

Despite your mother's intention to return to Sao PauloThiego requested the custody of Kayque, which was granted. The young man came to live with Dona Fátima, mother of Fabiana, who welcomed him with affection. Thiego and Fabiana are currently officially responsible for Kayque.

With a stable family environment, Kayque could focus on football. In the Alto da Sumaré project, he stood out quickly, attracting the attention of Sports Brazil. However, the distance made it difficult for the club to continue. In July 2023, with the help of sports agent Hemílio Cordeiro, known as Robinho, Kayque reached the Corinthians.

No CorinthiansKayque Silva signed off as an attacker. In December of that year, he signed his first training contract with the club. His performance at the Paulista Championship under-15, where he scored six goals in seven games, earned him the call to the Brazilian national team under-15.

Kayque presented himself to coach Dudu Patetuci for the preparatory training for the 2nd of July Cup, which will be held in Salvador from 2 to 13 July. His career of overcoming and conquering inspires many young athletes and reaffirms the commitment of Corinthians with talent development.
