Athletico has great players in the main cast, but the lack of versatility for tactical variations, especially for the defense, is the cause of much criticism from the fans.

Marcos Victor played only five matches in the current season – three for Baiano and two for the Northeast Cup. He played for the last time in Bahia 1×0 March 24th, Maranhão.
If confirmed, Marcos Victor will compete with Kaique Rocha, Mateo Gamarra and Thiago Heleno.
In addition, the 22-year-old player will become Athletic's second hire in this window. Before, the club had already closed with half Bruno Praxedes, reserve of Vasco.
After a record surplus in 2023, Athletico must close the window with a player leaning on the Bahia and a reservation of Vasco. Reinforcements may be entered until Monday (2).
