Former Flemish appears as the 3rd best player of the century on the English press list; see top-25

In the past, Pelé was elected the ‘20th century athlete’. Already in the 21st century, from 2001 to 2100, there is still ‘a lot of water’ to roll. However, the English radio ‘TalkSport’ decided to put together a list with the top 25 players in history in the cutout of the last 23 years. Athlete Flamengo in the period, Ronaldinho Gaúcho appears as third in the list, behind Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

In addition to Ronaldinho Gaúcho, four other Brazilians appear on the list: Kaká, Daniel Alves, Ronaldo Fenômeno and Neymar. The R10, which passed the Flamengo from 2011 to 2012, he had the main shine in his career when he worked for Barcelona (ESP) between 2003/04 and 2007/08.

RONDINHO IN FLAMENGO

No Flamengo, Ronaldinho was Rio’s champion in 2011, on the famous team of the ‘Bonde do Mengão without brake’. In the Brazilian Championship, he was part of the team that qualified for the 2012 Libertadors of America. However, in the second season by the club, he left Rio de Janeiro claiming wage delays. With the Holy Manto, he played 72 games, with 28 goals.

Besides Barcelona and Flamengo, in the century, Ronaldinho passed by Grêmio, PSG (FRA), Milan (ITA), Atlético-MG, Querétaro (MEX) and Fluminense, where he ended his career in 2015. Currently, the best player in the world in 2004 and 2005 is 44 years old.
