Athletico is interested in hiring the Argentine striker Francisco Fydriszewski, currently in San Lorenzo. The 31-year-old player has two proposals to play in Brazilian football. Besides Hurricane, another who sought the athlete was Ceará. A third party concerned is the Universidad de Chile.
The information was initially released by the journalist Uriel Iugt and confirmed by Apito Final.
Revealed by Newell’s Old Boys, Fydriszewski did not have much initial prominence in Argentina. His best moments took place in Ecuador, where he worked for three teams: LDU Portoviejo, Aucas and Barcelona Guayaquil.
At the Aucas, between 2021 and 2022, he played 58 games, scoring 30 goals and giving eight assists. His good performance led him to Barcelona from Guayaquil in 2023, where he participated in 35 matches, with 14 goals and four assists.
In 2024, Fydriszewski returned to his home country to defend San Lorenzo in an attempt to mark a new stage in his career. However, to date, there were only two games played and no goal noted.
Currently for the attack, Athletico has Luiz Fernando, Leozinho, Cuello, Julimar, Matheus Babi, Lucas Di Yorio and Mastriani. However, the last two on the list should not remain in Hurricane for the 2025 season.
