The cast assembly of Hurricane for the 2025 season continues and another reinforcement reached the CAT Cashew. The young 20-year-old attacker Isaac was hired by the Fluminense and signed a bond with the Red Black until the end of 2027.
"The first impression was very good. The Athletic has a huge structure. I intend to play a lot here, make a great season and count on the support of the fans, to take Athletico back to the elite of Brazilian football," says the new striker red-black.
Start and inspiration
Isaac is a native of Teresina, capital of Piauí. Inspired by his father, he dedicated himself to football since he was a child and began his career in the River's formation categories.
"I always wanted to be a football player because of my father, who died in 2022. He always wanted to be a player. I've always liked playing football since I was eight. I never had a plan B. When my father passed away, I almost gave up, but I continued, managed to go to the professional and fulfill his dream. Now, I believe he is very happy," he says.
In early 2021, after playing for River in the Brazilian Cup, Isaac was hired by Fluminense, still for Sub-17 team. He reached the main cast in 2023.
In the first year as a professional, he participated in the achievements of the Carioca Championship and CONMEBOL Liberadores. In total, he played 28 games for the club and scored two goals.
Characteristics and objectives
Speed, dribble and accuracy on the passes. These are Isaac's main features within the four lines.
"I take a lot of inspiration from Neymar. Everything he does in the field. I really like to dribble and finish the play, trying to give assistance or finalize. I like to play from the left end, pull in, kick or cross to give assistance," he says.
Now, with Hurricane's shirt, he hopes to put his skills into practice, always thinking about helping the red-black cast achieve their goals.
"My expectation is too great. I miss getting on the field and playing. I'm very anxious and the crowd can expect me to do my best. It's a year off for Athletico and me too. Let's all go together," she concludes.
