Mauricio Barbieri blames the village lawn Capanema comparing Athletic to Andraus

Coach Maurício Barbieri spared no criticism of the lawn of Vila Capanema after the victory of Athletico-PR by 3 to 1 against Andraus, this Sunday (2). Even with the victory, Athletico continues to be criticized for poor performance, taking into account that Andraus is a semi-professional team and was easily defeated in all other games.

During the press conference, the coach stressed that the conditions of the field damaged Hurricane's performance and compromised the quality of the game. But it's the board that's wrong, with the same mistakes of 2024, profiting a lot from sales and not recasting.

According to Barbieri, the state of the lawn made a fair analysis of the team's performance impossible. He pointed out that, in addition to the poor quality of the grass, a little noticeable detail from a distance drew attention: the ball used at the beginning of the match did not have a visible mark or gomes suitable for adherence, which further affected the dynamics of the game.

Despite the positive result, Barbieri reinforced that lawn conditions made it difficult to execute the planned strategy. With this, he avoided further analysis of player performance.

Hurricane is now preparing for the next challenges, while the quality of the fields follows as a point of attention to the team and its technical commission.
