The future of Gonzalo Mastriani in Athletico Paranaense It seems more and more distant. With a contract valid until December 31, 2026, Mastriani will hardly return to the red-black cast. Athletico already plans to negotiate the player early next season, seeking the most viable business model for the club's finances.

The main challenge is the attacker's high salary, considered one of the largest in the cast. The board understands that keeping the athlete is financially unfeasible, especially given the uncertainty about the division in which the club will be in 2025. Among the alternatives studied are a definitive sale, a new loan with part of the costs assumed by Hurricane or even a free release maintaining a percentage for future negotiations, an option seen as unlikely because of the player's age.

Athletico now seeks a solution that ends the Mastriani cycle in a strategic and less costly way, prioritizing financial balance and cast renewal.
