In the second round of the World Cup, Tite participated in a press conference of the Brazilian team on Sunday (27). During the interview, the Brazilian technician was moved by telling a story of an Arab fan and his family.
In this case, Tite was giving solidarity after the attack on schools in Aracruz, in Espírito Santo, and left 4 dead and 13 injured. Soon after the coach reported the episode with his family, at the end of the match, at the stadium Lusail, which brought Brazil's 2–0 victory against Serbia.
"The sport provides beautiful things. For the younger, in educational terms, it brings this. My family was coming back from the game, and until I got to the subway, it's far. I've got two grandkids, heavy-weight. One sleeping over here, one over there, and Lucca's heavy."
Started Tite.
Lucca is the eldest son of Matheus Bachi, who is also an assistant to the Brazilian technical committee in the Cup. Today he's five.
"An Arab came and asked to help," Tite continued, taking a break to stop crying. "He took my grandson and carried him for a long time. And there's a picture of him taking it. I'd like to meet the Arab. It shows a sense of solidarity," he added.
"Of course we have to come to win, but some things transcend. Make it a bond of brotherhood, of respect. It's part of it."
It's over, Tite.
