No club since he left Ceará in late 2022, striker Dentinho seeks a new challenge for the current season. At the age of 33, the former Corinthian states that he is much better prepared to face 2023.
In an interview with the EG, Dentinho stated that he did specific work to act at a high level in 2023. The injuries that hindered him in returning to the country, according to the player, will no longer be a hindrance.
"I can say I'm feeling much better in every way. I've been out of Brazil a long time and of course you end up feeling a little when you return. Only at Shakhtar did I stay for ten seasons, but now it's another time. I'm much more prepared. I'm doing a special preparation, focusing on physical preparation and injury prevention. I'm using this time to focus on these issues. I'm sure the year 2023 will be different," said Dentinho.
Asked about the possible new destination, Ronaldo Fenômeno's former companion in Timão's attack said he has polls, but awaits Gilberto Silva's commands, a world champion with Brazil and its entrepreneur, for the new challenge.
" That's more like my manager. We've had some polls and he's talking. I'm preparing to introduce myself to my new club in the best possible condition," he concluded.
So he played 187 times with the shirt of Corinthians and scored 55 goals, besides winning three titles: Paulista and Copa do Brasil (2009) and Série B (2008).
