The semifinals of the Paulista Championship 2023 were defined after the closure of the quarter final on Monday (13). Palm trees, Italian, Bragantino and Água Santa will compete for a vacancy in the state decision.
O Palm trees, leader of the overall ranking, won the São Bernardo 1 to 0 with a Rony goal at Allianz Parque, last Saturday (11). With victory, the Green will be the boss in the semifinal against the Italian, which eliminated the Corinthians in the penalty after draw in 1 to 1, at Neo Química Arena, on Sunday (12).
Bragantino, in turn, secured his position by winning the Botafogo-SP for 2 to 0, at home, at Nabi Abi Chedid, last Sunday (12). Bruno Gonçalves scored twice and took the Gross Mass to the semifinal, where he will face the Holy Water.
The team of Diadema tied without goals with the Sao Paulo in Allianz Parque, on Monday (13), and won the penalty. With victory, the Holy Water will be the boss against Bragantino in the semifinal.
