Among the targets of the club is the quarterback Cacá, which has attracted the attention of coach Paulo Turra. Hurricane had already made a move earlier this year, but Japanese club Tokushima Vortis, owner of the player's pass, did not accept the negotiation. Nevertheless, the club continues to monitor the defender, who has a contract with the Japanese until January 2025.

In addition to Athletico, three other clubs are also watching Cacá: Grêmio, São Paulo and Cruise, club that revealed the quarterback. At 23, Cacá played three seasons on the Fox professional team, where he was commanded by Luiz Felipe Scolari, current technical director of Hurricane. Since his transfer to Tokushima Vortis in 2021, the quarterback has played 71 matches for the club.

It is worth remembering that Athletico is not in search of a "package" of reinforcements, but of punctual hirings. In addition to Cacá, other names that emerged were the attackers Thiago Andrade, from New York City, and Ademir, from Atlético-MG. However, the negotiations are not being easy, since the clubs of athletes do not accept a negotiation by loan and would only accept a sale, whose values are above what Hurricane is willing to pay.

While seeking further reinforcements, Athletico prepares for the semifinal of the Paranaense Championship, where he will face Maringá on Saturday (18), at 7pm, at Willie Davids Stadium.
