Petraglia is highlighted in the Spanish press by firm position in the negotiation of Vitor Roque with Barcelona

O Barcelona is facing difficulties in negotiations to hire the attacker Vitor Roque, the Athletico Paranaense. The Spanish club believed it would be easy to convince Hurricane to release the player, but faced the firm stance of President Mário Celso Petraglia. According to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the negotiation is being considered difficult by the interest of other clubs, by the high price and the negotiating skill of the red-black agent.

Petraglia is known for his rigid stance in the negotiations and has already turned Athletico into a club that profits a lot from transfers. The Paranaense team has two of the 20 largest sales in the history of Brazilian football: Lucas, in 2000, and Bruno Guimarães, in 2020. In addition, in the last two years, the club raised R$ 233 million in proceeds from transfers.

The Deportive World still informs that Petraglia maintains conversations with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United, which makes the situation even more complex for the Barcelona. Therefore, Athletico will only negotiate Vitor Roque for more than EUR 40 million. The expectation is that the player appreciates even more after the friendly competition of the main Brazilian team against Morocco and the World under-20 in May.
