However, some fans of Tricolor Paulista have directed criticism to the current coach, Rogério Ceni, after the news that, of the 30 reinforcements made in the management of President Júlio Casares, 21 were performed with Ceni in charge of the team. Some argue that the goalkeeper with more goals in football history was not able to make the team play well, even with the new players.
On social media, some fans expressed their discontent with Ceni: "Twenty-one players and not yet able to form a minimally trained team. They say no one would do better than Ceni," said a fan. Another used irony to comment on the current work: "For some fans, Rogério needs to reformulate the team, but the team has already been reformulated. The fans also compared Ceni's work with that of former coach Hernán Crespo, who won the 2018 Paulista Championship. "It just shows how bad Ceni's work is.
