Former player Flamengo, Ramon, reached an agreement with the prosecutor after being indicted for manslaughter as a result of a traffic accident in which he hit cyclist Jonatas David dos Santos, resulting in his death. According to journalist Isabelle Costa, Ramon will pay R$150 thousand to the National Cancer Institute (INCA) as part of the agreement. After investigations, it was proven that Jonatas crossed the road improperly and the traffic light was open to Ramon's car.
Jonatas' family will also receive compensation, but the figures were not disclosed due to a confidentiality clause.
