After the loss in the departure by 1 to 0 to the CRB, Athletico will have to reverse the result to advance in the third stage of the Brazilian Cup. Hurricane spared some pieces and seeks to repeat a turn, a fact that has already occurred six times in the history of the tournament. The match will be on Tuesday (25), at 9:30 pm, in Arena da Baixada.
Throughout the history of the Brazilian Cup, played since 1989, the Athletico managed to advance phase in six opportunities, after losing the first duel and every time they played at home in Curitiba. In fact, it had reversed duels in 2013 and 2019, years in which Hurricane reached the final of the tournament.

2007: Athletic 4 x 4 Victory – Phase 2
After a 4–1 win at the Barrado, Dênis Marques, twice, and Evandro scored for the Hurricane in the 3–0 win in the game back at the Arena da Baixada, tying the aggregate score and classifying the Athletico by the extinct goal scored out of the house.
2007: Athletic 3 x 3 Atlético-GO – Eighth finals
Already in the next confrontation, the goal out of the house once again saved Athletico. After suffering a 3–1 loss in Goiânia, Alex Mineiro and Jeancarlos scored for Hurricane in the 2–0 win in the game back and took the red-black to quarter finals.
2011: Athletic 4 x 3 Rio Branco-AC – 1st phase
Even in a complicated year for the history of Athletico, which ended with the delegation of the team in Brasileirão, Guerrón and company managed to drive the zebra away in Arena da Baixada and reversed the defeat suffered in Acre by 2 to 1. 2012: Athletic 2 x 2 Sampaio Corrêa – 1st phase
This time playing at Vila Capanema, Marcinho was the hero of the Athletic classification. The victory in Curitiba by 1 to 0 was enough to tie the aggregate in 2 to 2 and classify the Red-black by the criterion of the goal out.
2013: Athletic 3 x 1 Palm trees – Eighth Finals
On the bright night of Ederson and Paul Baier, the Athletic reversed the defeat suffered for the Palm trees ed Sao Paulo in the round of the eighths of the final in 2013 by 1 to 0. In Curitiba, 3 to 0 Hurricane, a victory that would pack a campaign that would hit the title beam, reaching the final of the competition.
2019: Athletic 2 (5) x (4) 2 Grêmio – Semifinal
The most recent and popular one from Athletico is also the most memorable. After a great victory of Grêmioin Port Cheerful, by 2 to 0, the gauchos came to Curitiba with good chances of classification for the final. However, Nikon and Marco Ruben scored for Hurricane and took the decision to the penalty, where the team advanced and followed.
