For the 24th round of the Series The Brazilian Championship, Athletico defeated the International, by 2 to 1, on Thursday (21), at Ligga Arena, deciding the match to 44 minutes of the second half with a head of Alex Santana. With this victory, the red-black returned to the G-6, the ranking block for the Copa Libertadores of America.
