In the midst of the controversy involving contradictions in the testimonies of Petraglia and Wesley Carvalho when using the Athletic base in the main team, we decided to recall some of the athletes from Hurricane sub-20 who are being used.
This season, Athletico-PR promoted four players from the Sub-20 team to the professional. The quartet is formed by the quarterback Lucas Belezi, the socks Dudu and Danielzinho, and the attacker Chiqueti.
Among them, the first related was Dudu, against the FortressIn July. Then it was Danielzinho and Chiqueti's turn, who stayed in the reserve bank in the classic against Coritiba early this month. Finally, Belezi appeared on Wesley Carvalho's list to face the Red Bull BragantinoLast round.
Know, below, a little more about each of the young people.
Dudu
Dudu, 17 years old, has been playing at the Hurricane base for four years and, this season, he was South American champion with the Brazilian base team being the biggest waiter in the tournament, with six assists. He has a bond with the red-black until April 2026.
Daniel Martins
Daniel Martins, 21, arrived at Athletico- PR of Novorizontine in 2020 by loan, but was definitely purchased two years later, signing a contract with Hurricane until July 2025. In the Sub-20, he played 59 matches, with seven goals and four assists. In the main, it came to be related to a match against the Goiás in April, when the team was still commanded by Paulo Turra.
Chiqueti
18-year-old chiceti arrived at Athletico-PR in 2019. Since then, he has scored 15 goals in 30 matches for the Under-17 team and 11 goals in 26 matches for the Sub-20. His bond with Hurricane is valid until March 2025.
Lucas Belezi
Twenty-year-old Lucas Belezi was formed in the basic categories of Corinthians and arrived at Athletico-PR in June this year. At Timon, he was the youngest player to play in the pro, against the Botafogo-SP in 2019, at 16, one month and 21 days. In Hurricane, he is the holder of the Sub-20 team, with 15 matches in the season.
