On the night of last Sunday (17), Paolo Guerrero won the Ecuadorian League of 2023. This is the second title the centeravante reaches with the LDU shirt, along with the South American on top of the FortressIn October this year.
"We did a great season and every club is to be congratulated. It's gratifying to me that I'm only six months here to be part of this group and to win with my comrades two titles so important to LDU. Surely the support of our fans was essential to get out champions and I thank them for believing in the strength of the team," highlights the Peruvian.
Guerrero has a contract with LDU until December 30. A renovation with the centroavante is already being worked by the Ecuadorians, while some Brazilian clubs probe the athlete's name to reinforce the attack in 2024.
In Brazilian football, the Peruvian centeravante lived periods of prominence in three different clubs. After a very successful passage by Corinthians, Guerrero still acted consistently by Flamengo and International.
