Melo described the cash flow situation as complicated, but emphasized continued efforts to stabilise the club's finances. "Question of hours, days we are putting everything in order again. We have a complicated cash flow, people don't think about Corinthians. Whenever a company that comes to us is through an acquaintance," Melo explained, highlighting the complexities generated by less formal agreements and the consequences of past practices.

The president also informed that the board is actively seeking new revenue and that soon a new master sponsorship will be announced. "The master sponsor will soon be filled. Ten bills come in every day and we have to choose what to pay, but soon this will all be settled," he said, projecting a positive vision for the future near the club.

Commitment to Athletes and Employees

In addition to financial challenges, Melo addressed the situation of late payments, both for players and employees. He recognized the monthly deficit caused by interest, but assured that measures are being taken to regulate the situation. "I had a meeting with the athletes that as soon as I could put it in order, but I made it clear that the situation we live in today does not mean that we would not be late," he explained, adding that regularization is expected to happen in the coming days.

About the speculations of the transfer of players such as Wesley and Carlos Miguel, Melo confirmed that both remain in the club for the time being, refuting rumors of imminent exits and reiterating the club's commitment to retain its main talents.
