Timon snake R$ 6.3 million VaideBet after termination

O Corinthians sent, last week, an official notification to VaideBet, former patron of the club, challenging important points about the early termination of the sponsorship contract. The betting house closed the contract in early June, and Timon counters three main topics in relation to the agreement.

Contested Topics

1. Official Response to Contract Break O Corinthians disagrees with the rupture and argues that it does not respond to the attitudes of outsourced companies. In this case, the board refers to the Social Media Design Network, identified as intermediate in the negotiation.

2. Misuse of Shield The club claims VaideBet continued using the shield of Corinthians in promotions and electronic games even after the end of the partnership, violating the institution's copyright.

3. Contractual Debt O Corinthians collects a debt of R$ 6.3 million for a contractual balance. This does not include the fine for the termination of the contract.

Partnership History

Corinthians and VaideBet signed a sponsorship contract in early 2024, amounting to R$ 370 million for three years. This was the largest sponsorship agreement between club and company in Latin America, covering the men and women football teams, as well as the futsal and basketball teams. The betting house even printed the uniforms of the club's base categories.

Premature Closure

In June, the deal was closed by VaideBet after a scandal involving Social Media Design and an alleged orange. The betting house triggered an anti-corruption clause foreseen in the contract, stating that the situation was damaging its image, and chose to terminate the partnership. Since then the Corinthians You go on without a master sponsor.
